Custom laminated glass wall cladding, custom glass partition walls, and frameless glass doors complete this hotel’s interior design.

Since the launch of our new website with its multiple new project and product galleries and portfolios, a number of our industry partners have told us they’re surprised to discover the breadth of projects our custom laminated glass has been included in.  Well overdue, and to start showcasing some of our retroactive work, the team at Archetype Glass is proud to kick-off a new and recurring feature on our blog and social media channels: “Project Spotlights”.

For our first Project Spotlight, we thought there was no better candidate than the Conrad Washington DC Hotel – the project which we proudly display on our website homepage banner.  Featuring a collection of our custom laminated glass partition walls, custom laminated glass wall cladding, and custom frameless glass doors, our interior design solutions for the Conrad Washington DC was part of the brand’s introduction in the D.C. market in May, 2019.  With interior design expertise provide by close industry partners Rottet Studio, we’re extremely proud of how our custom laminated glass helps complete this amazing space.  The majority of the glass used in Rottet Studio’s design is Archetype Glass’ custom laminated Fabric and Metal Glass (see our product gallery here).

To quote the hotel’s description of Rottet Studio’s design including our laminated glass solutions:

“The 360-room, 10-floor hotel features 30,000 square feet of luxury retail space on its ground floor and 32,000 square feet of purpose-built meeting space, all above ground level and unlike any other hotel in Washington D.C.  The interiors are a restrained, minimalist expression of purity of thought and design to complement the carefully-conceived building.  The hotel’s public and lounge spaces create an urban oasis and elevated dining experience that’s completely unique in D.C.”
