As part of our Textured Art Glass Product Focus this month, Archetype Glass is proud to showcase our Kankakee Grille project at the Four Winds New Buffalo Casino Resort as this month’s Project Spotlight.

Designed and built in coordination with our industry partners and award-winning hospitality and entertainment designers HBG Design, the Kankakee Grille project was a milestone for Archetype Glass – not only did we supply the custom laminated Textured Art Glass for the project, but we also furnished the custom waterjet-cut metal screens that “framed” a number of the pieces of our Textured Art Glass to create truly one-of-a-kind glass partition walls that elegantly served double-duty as feature walls unto themselves.

To quote HBG Design’s vision for the space, including our Textured Art Glass solutions (from their website):

“Tribal motifs are used as showpiece elements within the overall contemporary design…enhanced by sophisticated detailing and neutral color palettes, rich dark wood tones…and a refined palette of tile, stone and wooden finishes. Specialty fabricators and artisans were brought in to create the distinctive tribal metalwork and artwork. To ensure cultural authenticity, the Pokagon Tribal Board developed the Pokagon Art Council to review all specialty artwork created at all four of the Four Winds Casino projects.”
