What did we do?

Archetype is proud to have had a role in the renovation of a local landmark, the historic Yorktowne Hotel. We worked with local artist Carol Oldenburg to create large glass panels that would be suspended in the windows. We provided tempered glass panels to Carol and she created three captivating works with watercolor dyes. The artwork came back to our shop to be laminated and installed in the Yorktowne by our owner himself.

The vibrant art brings color to hotel guests, and after dark, the interior light shines through the windows from within, a visual treat for passersby on the street outside.
